Recently, UWB (Ultra-Wideband) pointing remote control technology has successfully expanded from the high-end TV market to the smart projector industry. The "Yitian" remote control project, a collaboration between Huayun Timespace and JMGO projectors, fills a gap in the projector industry regarding precise pointing interaction.
Unlike traditional infrared or Bluetooth remote controls that rely on directional keys for multi-level menu operations, the UWB pointing remote control utilizes its high-precision positioning capabilities, allowing users to directly point at specific areas or icons on the screen to click, swipe, etc., just like using an air mouse or stylus.
This "point-and-click" interaction method greatly simplifies the operation process, especially in scenarios such as video-on-demand and file browsing, significantly improving the user experience and potentially solving the long-standing pain point of complex operation on large-screen projector interfaces.
